An AI can follow a style instruction. That is not the same as learning how you write. "Clear and conversational" leaves out the choices that make a draft feel like yours: what you lead with, how much context you give, and which words you would remove.
Start with representative samples
Choose examples that reflect the job you want help with. A founder writing customer updates should not train only on a polished launch post. Include real updates, emails, and posts that show how you make a point when the stakes are ordinary.
Choose writing with a point of view you still trust, the formality you need for that context, and sentences that still sound natural when read aloud. Do not ask one persona to cover every setting. A client email and a public essay can both be yours while needing different levels of detail.
Remove details the model does not need
Voice lives in rhythm, structure, vocabulary, and judgment. It does not require an account number, a private roadmap, or a client's name. Remove confidential details, credentials, private links, financial figures, and identifying information about other people. Replace a detail with a neutral description when the sentence needs one.
Train for a specific context
